Bethesda has announced the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Patch 1.3 has been released for download through Xbox Live for Xbox 360 gamers across the world. This patch has been first released on Windows PCs through Steam though it doesn’t represent a huge update as it’s here to improve the performance of the game and to fix several bugs.
The Skyrim Patch 1.3 changelog is pretty short so we’re going to cut to the chase and begin with general enhancements, Radiant Story incorrect filling bug fixed for all roles, magic resistances are now being calculated properly, no more problems when placing books on bookshelves in houses bought by you, no more animation problems with the dragons when saving or loading, and fixed the Y-look input which now scales according to the framerate.
These are all minor fixes, however, they are going to improve the gameplay by much as Skyrim will run smoother and players will get less annoyed due to the lack of bugs. Sure, some PS3 users are still experiencing some problems with the lag even after upgrading to Patch 1.2, but we believe that Bethesda is working to correct it.
Meanwhile, Windows PC and Xbox 360 users are enjoying the game without any problems and they can keep on killing dragons and stealing stuff with ease in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Hopefully, the dragons will no longer fly backwards as the animation issues have been fixed. Lots of users have uploaded videos on YouTube, showing how dragons were capable of flying backwards and Bethesda quickly acknowledged the problems and said that this shouldn’t happen.
You can downloadВ The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Patch 1.2 for Xbox 360 free right now through the Xbox Live Marketplace. Let us know if you played the game after upgrading and if everything is working as intended now. Also if you are experiencing any in-game problems, then it would help to file a bug report to Bethesda.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim release date was November 11th worldwide except Japan on all major platforms including PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Critics have said that this is one of the best games ever created, though the same thing have been said about Batman: Arkham City. Both of the games are amazing and we have to admit that we’ve been spoiled in 2011 with other cool titles like Battlefield 3, Portal 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword among others.
2012 will be another great year as the whole world is waiting for the release of Diablo III, the sequel to Diablo II, in order to find out how Diablo’s story will end or… continue.
