Anonymous Hacks, Records, Publishes Phone Conversation Between The FBI And The Scotland Yard Regarding LulzSec Arrests

Anonymous is probably the most popular group on the web. Although it is said that there is no organized hierarchy in Anonymous and that anyone who likes to defend the internet’s rights is welcomed to become an “Anon,” it seems like this group manages to leak important information once in a while, suggesting that someone is in charge of the group. The last deed? Anonymous published a phone conversation between the FBI and the Scotland Yard regarding LulzSec.
The phone conversation between the FBI and the British police is as legit as possible, and it seems like the guys who are in charge of the investigation don’t really know anything about the internet. Several months ago, the Scotland Yard arrested a few members of LulzSec including the one who was believed to be in charge of the organization.
Since the arrests, LulzSec has become a part of Anonymous, while the police investigation is on-going. There are several policemen involved in the conversation who are trying to figure out what Steam is, and trying to determine what are these kids were looking to accomplish with “Project Mayhem or whatever the hell that was.”
According to the Scotland Yard, the arrested members of LulzSec are just a bunch of kids who are seeking attention. In addition, they didn’t know “who was who” as they used complicated nicknames on the internet. Anonymous censored the real names of LulzSec’s members in order to protect their identity on the internet, but we’re not sure how is that going to help them, considering the fact that they’ve already been arrested.
The Anonymous group has also published details about theВ Anon-Lulz International Coordination Call, a FBI operation. It seems like the members of the group also got a hold of a dial-in number along with the password.
The entire phone conversation has been uploaded on YouTube and can be heard below. Just hit the play button, and listen to how “competent” these people really are! I cannot help but to ask myself how can someone blame or judge something that they don’t understand? We’re hoping that this “video” will show the world that for moment an anti-piracy bill like SOPA, ACTA, PIPA, or any other is simply not useful because the authorities don’t have a clue of how the internet is working therefore it would be unwise to change it. Or maybe they just want to put an end to internet freedom in order to avoid being hacked…
